Let Alliance will carry out checks which may include:
Landlord reference
Employer or income reference
Affordability checks
Credit check
Identification checks
If there is anything which may affect your application, including adverse credit, CCJs, affordability issues or problems with previous tenancies, please tell in the special requests box.
Let Alliance carries out a thorough background check and it is much better to be upfront from the outset. In some cases we may still be able to proceed, for example with a guarantor, rent in advance or further information. However, if important information is not disclosed and is then found during referencing, this is much more likely to result in the application being declined.
Please do not apply on the basis that something is unlikely to be picked up during referencing. This will usually only waste your own time as well as the landlord’s and ours.
Each person aged 18 or over who will be residing at the property must submit an application.
The deposit for most properties is one month’s rent plus £100, unless otherwise stated in the advert.
